About Me

Born and raised in South Louisiana. I started Cakes and Cookies by Candace as a hobby in 2012.  I did it on the side while I was a hairdresser. In 2016 I had a chance to start full time with cakes and cookies and I have not stopped since!   I am a home baker and I STRIVE to reach perfection for custom orders. I love making personalized items for any occasion! On June 27, 2018 I was awarded SECOND place for Time’s of Acadiana Best of 2018. Also, on June 27, 2019 I was awarded THIRD place for Time’s of Acadiana Best of 2019! I would not be here without my AMAZING family, friends, and customers.
